By accessing www.hcntx.org, submitting a membership application, registering for an event, or communicating with The Hispanic Coalition of North Texas ("HCNTX," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, members, partners, and others who access or use our website and services.

2. Description of Services

The Hispanic Coalition of North Texas is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit business league dedicated to empowering Hispanic business owners, professionals, nonprofit leaders, and faith leaders across North Texas. Our services include:

  • Strategic Networking & Visibility — Access to a growing network of professionals and organizations across multiple industries and cities in North Texas

  • Business & Leadership Development — Workshops, trainings, and coaching to help members grow their businesses and strengthen leadership capacity

  • Community Engagement & Impact Initiatives — Programs addressing community needs including mental health and wellness, education, and civic engagement

  • Strategic Partnerships & Sponsorship Opportunities — Connections between businesses and organizations with community-focused investment opportunities

  • Advocacy & Representation — Amplifying the voice of the Hispanic community through civic engagement and local initiatives

  • Resource Access & Business Support — Member access to resources, guidance, and strategic consultations designed to support growth and long-term success

  • Events — Networking socials, member-only gatherings, workshops, and community forums held throughout the year

HCNTX uses GoHighLevel as its CRM and communications platform to manage member data, appointments, SMS communications, and email outreach.

3. Text Messaging Program Terms

By providing your phone number and opting in through any HCNTX form, you agree to receive text messages from The Hispanic Coalition of North Texas at the phone number provided.

Types of Messages

When you opt in, you may receive text messages from HCNTX related to:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders for meetings or consultations with HCNTX leadership

  • Event notifications, invitations, and reminders for HCNTX networking events, workshops, and community gatherings

  • Membership updates, onboarding information, and member support communications

  • Program announcements, community initiative updates, and partnership opportunities

Opt-Out Instructions

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to (214) 790-4492. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Message Frequency

Messages are sent based on appointments and events. Frequency will vary depending on your scheduled appointments and upcoming HCNTX events. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Consent

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of membership or participation in any HCNTX program or event.

4. User Responsibilities

By using our website and services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when submitting any form or application

  • Maintain the confidentiality of any account credentials associated with HCNTX member portals

HCNTX reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any individual found to be in violation of these standards.

6. Membership & Payments

HCNTX offers membership at various tiers to support the growth and sustainability of our programs. Membership fees are subject to change as our organization grows and expands its offerings.

Payment Processing

Membership fees, event registrations, and donations are processed securely through Zeffy, our third-party payment processor. By completing a payment through Zeffy, you agree to Zeffy's terms of service and privacy policy.

Refunds

Membership fees and event registrations are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase. If you have questions about a specific payment, please contact us at info@hcntx.org.

Billing

All fees are disclosed prior to payment. HCNTX does not store your payment information. All financial data is handled directly by Zeffy in accordance with their security and compliance standards.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on www.hcntx.org — including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, event materials, and program content — is the property of The Hispanic Coalition of North Texas and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any HCNTX content without prior written permission. Requests for use of HCNTX materials may be directed to info@hcntx.org.

8. Disclaimers

HCNTX provides its website and services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on our website or delivered through our communications.

We are not responsible for the content, products, or services offered by any third-party organizations listed as Impact Partners or referenced on our website.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Hispanic Coalition of North Texas, its officers, board members, staff, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, services, or communications — including but not limited to SMS messages, emails, or event participation.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to HCNTX in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Hispanic Coalition of North Texas and its officers, board members, staff, and volunteers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising out of your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

HCNTX reserves the right to suspend or terminate your membership, access to member resources, or participation in events at any time if you are found to be in violation of these Terms or acting in a manner inconsistent with the values and mission of the organization.

You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us at info@hcntx.org. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of any previously paid fees unless otherwise stated.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dallas County, Texas.

13. Changes to These Terms

HCNTX reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
